Rebekah's New Pad

Park La Fontaine - across the street from Rebekah's apartment. Notice the cushions around the base of the tree. We figure it is to keep people from hurting themselves when they slide into the tree. There is a bit of a hill here and the frozen pond is at the bottom of the hill.

Looking through the window - in the center is a Catholic church - Notre Dame something or other (can't remember the whole name).

The one and only window in the apartment. Note the curtains - Rebekah had a great idea. It is a King size bed sheet that was cut in half and hemmed. Note the wicker basket which stores her bedding.

The table for two or four depending if you put up the side leaves. It was a great find. I like it.

The sofa bed with a cover. Again we used a fitted bed sheet to cover it. It has a velour covering and everything sticks to it.

This is the new sofa bed and book shelf.

The new improved kitchen. We painted and put stuff on the walls. Looks really cherry.

The original look in the kitchen before the organization and the paint job.

Welcome to 3655 Papineau. Rebekah is on the 11th floor. There are 12 floors. Her apartment faces onto the side street. We are standing in the park across the street, taking this picture.

  1. Love the cherry kitchen, mom if you have some time you should head down to Calgary to do a little work on my place. HAHAHA anyways it looks great Becky. Also, good for you mom to revive the blog, we defiantly have been remised in our posting and need to get back into it. In honour of Becky, Netty and Myself getting into new places I suggest that we all post pics of our abodes, new or otherwise (mom and dad this includes you). Also, seeing as mom and dad will be heading to Taiwan I suggest you bring along a camera to capture the scenes unless you are confident in your drawing abilities and want to paint or draw what you have seen.
