I did it!
After three and a half months, countless moments of doubts, sore muscles and aching limbs, tired days and exhausted sleeps (maybe a little bit of an exaggeration . . . but not much), I did it! I ran 10km! Unfortunately, I've only ran it twice this past week, but I still have one more week of my gym membership, so plenty of time to attempt it a couple of more times.

Hey Beck congrats! It is a great feeling to know that you can run 10km! Are you planning on running the half marathon this year? Just to let you know the first time I ran the 1/2 I had only ever ran about 14 km in a row so I was scared that 21.5 was going to be too much but you just go at your own pace and you pick up energy from the crowd and before you know it you are crossing the finish line. I would encourage you to consider running the 1/2 and if not the 1/2 give some serious consideration to the 10km. I am going to block your argument that you don't want to compete with an argument that it is fun!
